About me : Hi Passed my RAE in 1993 only operated VHF on my yaesu ft726r tri band radio till 2000.. then added a TRIO TS830s as my main HF radio also have a Kenwood TS690s my antennae are; a tri band vhf vertical, a Doublet and a 20 mtr dipole in a inverted "V" for hf. About me : First Licenced in 1983, I am found these days on the bands 6-70CM.
Later in 2010 hope to be operational on 23CM.
I am a member of the RSGB,FISTS,and the UKSMG where I am on the Committee and also the Sponsorship Manager for new Beacons World wide and Dxpeditions and from Feb 2010 column writer for the Magazines 'Whats on Six'.

I am interested in Propagation and Beacons and solar and Sunspots.

I have been over the last three years building my own short boom Yagis for 50MHz some work well some did not I guess it is part of the fun hi.

About me : Hi im jonathan i have been in to radio since being a child. I passed my 2E0 call sign with the Bolton club. At the moment im keen on taking part in the Vhf & Uhf contest. I find it more enjoyable to homebrew all of my own antennas. The antennas i have made so far 2/70cm & my newest edition is a 2 element yagi for six meters.
