Derek G1AEQ (Chairman)
Licensed since 1983. An original BWC member, former Chariman, and responsible for re-forming the Club in 2007. Operational on 2m, 4m, 70cm, HF and APRS he may also be heard operating G1ONE/A in Club nets, and is a member of Bolton RAYNET Group. Derek also leads the BWC contest team, operating G1ONE/P from Winter Hill in the 2m QRP contest. |

Steven 2E0CRX (Vice-Chairman and Deputy Secretary)
Formerly M3LBR Often heard operating portable and mobile from the hills, particularly during our Monday night nets. Operational from the car on 2m, 4m, 6m, 70cm, 10m and HF. and is a member of Bolton RAYNET Group |

Ross G6GVI (Treasurer and Secretary)
Licensed since 1982 (also as G0WJR from 1995-2003). Member of the Bolton & District A.R.S. from 1981-4. RSGB member since 1984. Treasurer of Bolton RAYNET Group since 2007. President of University of Bristol A.R.S. in 1984 and from 1992-2000. Chairman of Severnside Amateur Television Group in 1999-2000. A VHF/UHF enthusiast, particularly keen on portable operation. Can often be heard on air around 51.51, 70.45, 144.3 or 433.5 (and sometimes on 160m and 5MHz) or tracked via APRS on 144.8. Ross has joined the Club nets, operating a large doublet aerial on 80 & 160m from a field near Chepstow, and a 2m ZL Special from a hill near Cheltenham. More usually, he may be heard operating G0BWC/A from Bolton. |

Paul "Mac" 2E0VBQ (Training Officer)
(Formerly M3VPM). Active on 2m, 4m, 6m, 70cm, HF and APRS from home and mobile and is a member of Bolton RAYNET Group. He's a keen portable operator, and may often be heard from Winter Hill during contest sessions. Mac was the first candidate in our Exam centre, passing his Intermediate tests, and is now registering as an Instructor to teach our aspiring Foundation Licensees. He's also developing the skills and equipment with which to repair and maintain his fine collection of classic sets (he's known locally as "the saviour of old radios"!). His other interests include weather satellite picture reception and boating. Mac's son Patrick is also licensed (M3VPY). |

Terry G6DEG (Committee member)
Licensed since 1981, and now becoming active again. Operates mobile on 4m, and portable on 4m, 2m & 70cm from the hills (with K9DOG!). May also be heard operating 2m SSB from home, using a classic TR7010. |
