After a fifteen-year break, the Bolton Wireless Club was revived in 2007, to provide a focus for radio enthusiasts in and around the Bolton area.

We've grown in leaps and bounds, and by the end of 2008 had over fifty members, and enjoyed a full programme of Club events through the whole year. See the Members, Meetings and Activities pages for more details.

Our Club is affilated to the Radio Society of Great Britain, and is a Registered Centre for the Radio Communications Examinations. We have a full training programme to help our Members progress up the Licensing ladder, and we've already got a dozen of them through their exams.
